Back to the Past, Hearthstone's Classic Format Mode Has Arrived!
The Forged in the Barrens expansion is not the only fresh thing you can find from the new Hearthstone update in 2021. This card game made by Blizzard also plans to bring players nostalgia with the rules of how to play in the early version. Like the World of Warcraft Game which presents a Classic version, Hearthstone also did not miss introducing the same thing.
Incidentally, the existence of Hearthstone's Classic Format has now officially appeared in the tavern. You can play live today, you will build a deck and compete using the original 240 cards in the 2014 launch version through various balancing changes that have been adjusted.
As you usually challenge anyone in Classic format starting today, games in Classic format are ready to count towards the related Achievements progress. The number of deck slots will be increased from 18 to 27 as the format passes. All players can also receive one Golden Classic Pack per account when logging in.
Meanwhile, the reward system, rank, and seasons in the Classic version itself will have the same function as Standard and Wild, as well as separate matchmaking pools. Then the access will also be automatically open via Wild Format.
Cards that are later added to Classic sets in Hearthstone history will not be able to be used in Classic format or obtained from Classic packs. Even so, the set is still craftable as part of the Legacy set in Wild.
The Hearthstone game itself is now available for Free to Play on the PC platform (via Battle.net), and Android / iOS.
