Season 8 Apex Legends will make it easier for players to shoot Wraiths
Wraith no longer "nimble"?
Of the many legends in Apex Legends, Wraith might be one that is very difficult to shoot. Its small posture with a ninja-like design makes a character who can go to isekai liked by many players thanks to its speed. But not those who fight it.
Many players complained that Wraith was too small and fast, making it difficult to shoot. The hitbox is quite small, making Respawn finally provide an update which results in the elimination of his typical Naruto-style running animation. Unfortunately, this is not a solution at all. He's still hard to shoot. The good news, not for season 8 of Apex Legends this time.
Apex Legends' latest patch note explains that Respawn Entertainment will enlarge the Wraith hitbox in season 8 of the game. They did it because according to them Wraith was still one of the most dominating characters even though his abilities and animation had changed.
This made Respawn decide to enlarge the Wraith hitbox instead of having to change his ability to balance enough. A thing they also did to Pathfinder after they changed their grappling ability which had an absurd cooldown.
Despite having raised his hitbox, Respawn admits that Wraith is still small and difficult to shoot. They further explained that the improved hitbox was the body and legs. In other words, it would still be difficult for players to headshot them.
Season 8 of Apex Legends will be released on February 2 at 10:00 PT or precisely February 3, 2021 at 01:00 WIB.
