Star Wars Battlefront II Free Next Week on the Epic Games Store

Epic Games Store's strategy to free every game that appears in the shop is an open secret. Several titles that are predominantly indie games have been free for them over the last few years. But not infrequently the AAA title is also not absent in it. This strategy is also what they seem to be using when Star Wars: Battlefront II is released.

 

 

That's right, Epic Games is planning to distribute DICE's Star Wars Battlefront II to its free digital game store next week. The multiplayer game that has been perfected since the first iteration with the addition of the singleplayer mode will be available for download starting January 14, 2021.

Star Wars Battlefront II is a "current" version of a similar title that had surfaced in the past. To put it simply, the game is a mix of Battlefield with a Star Wars theme. This shooter game has gone through drama and microtransaction controversy which seems to have been fixed by DICE and EA.
