How to make a great glowing 3d alike text effect in Adobe Photoshop in just a few easy steps.

In the layers panel make a copy of the text layer, name on text and the other effect, so you know the difference.

Go to edit -> free transform and rotate the layer 90 degrees, then go to filters -> stylize -> wind and set it as in the image below. repeate this 2 more times, and rotate the layer back into place.

Go to filters -> blur -> radial blur and set it as in the image below.
Now in the layers panel, make a copy of the effect layer and place it just above the other effect layer. Then right click it and choose merge down, now your effect should be more bright.
In the layers panel hold down ctrl and click the hidden layer to load the text selection, make a new empty layer above the effect layer and then go to edit -> stroke and make a white stroke about 4 px.
